Entropology

2007
3D-rendering, Lamda, printed on Kodak Endura
Series of 12

In the computer-simulated world of Entropology, the plants prevail. Only remnants of houses and interiors are visible. Tools of orientation – perspective and mapping – seem to be ineffective. However, if these bits of architecture are not remnants then what we’re encountering is perhaps a new sort of habitat where the boundaries between inside and outside, between culture and nature, between virtual and organic life are absent or have become fluid.
